EUREKA WIGGLER

The Eureka Wiggler, AKA The coldwater Wiggler, was created and patented by Sam Larrabee of Coldwater, Michigan in 1914. This was the world's first " Sonic " lure. It was designed with a " Y " shaped water passage, a large oval mouth hole breaking into two small dorsal passages. One passage on the left and one on the right and one slightly forward of the other, so that as the line is retrieved water passes through and the lure wiggles from side to side.

Another interesting feature was the " Crackleback " finish which resulted in squiggly lines designed to resemble fish scales. Two very unique features.

All lures come in an attractive wood presentation box with a written history and a copy of the patent drawing.
